Secondthespectralresponseofarepresentativecellandthespectraldistributionoftheirradiancesourcemustbeknown.ThecalibrationconstantofthereferencecellisthencorrectedtoaccountforthedifferencebetweentheactualandthereferencespectralirradiancedistributionsusingthespectralmismatchparameterwhichisdefinedinTestMethodE973.
TerrestrialreferencecellsarecalibratedwithrespecttoareferencespectralirradiancedistributionforexampleTablesG173.
Areferencecellmadeandcalibratedasdescribedin4.3willindicatethetotalirradianceincidentonamoduleorarraywhosespectralresponseisclosetothatofthereferencecell.
Withtheperformancedatadeterminedinaccordancewiththesetestmethodsitbecomespossibletopredictmoduleorarrayperformancefrommeasurementsunderanytestlightsourceintermsofanyreferencespectralirradiancedistribution.
